If you're curious about coaching conversations, the sections below explain what they're like, what people often bring to them, and how to get started. You can jump to any topic below.
Sometimes it helps to talk things through with someone who isn’t part of your everyday life.
Coaching conversations are a space to explore what’s going on in your life, think through difficult questions, and begin to see possible paths forward.
Everything we talk about, from the moment you reach out to me, is confidential except in cases of possible harm to yourself or others and illegal activity.
People often reach out when they’re facing things like:
uncertainty about what comes next
a major life transition
a decision that’s hard to make
feeling stuck or overwhelmed
a sense that something in life needs to change
These conversations are open-ended and reflective, but there's still some structure. By the end, we'll work together to identify a small, doable step forward.
I don't give advice or tell you what to do. I listen carefully, ask open-ended questions, and help you think more clearly about what’s going on and what might come next.
These conversations are for people who:
are at turning points in their lives
want space to think things through
are open to reflection and honest conversation
are okay with sometimes being (respectfully) challenged on their thinking
Before scheduling a conversation, I ask you to fill out a check-in form so I can learn a little about what’s going on in your life.
If it feels like a good fit, we schedule a quick 30-minute intro call. During that call I’ll explain a bit more about coaching, we'll talk through your responses to the form, and you can ask any questions you might have.
At the end of the call, you can decide whether you'd like to continue with coaching.
If you decide to move forward, I’ll send a coaching agreement to review and sign before the first coaching conversation. It outlines the terms of the coaching relationship and how confidentiality is handled.
Conversations typically last about 60 minutes and take place over Zoom.
If you prefer to meet via phone or with video off, that's perfectly fine too.
Along with my personal experiences navigating uncertainty and change, I’ve also completed over 120 hours of coaching education with Lumia, an ICF-accredited coach training school.
Note: ICF (International Coaching Federation) accreditation means the school's programs have been reviewed to ensure they meet global standards for coaching ethics, competencies, and training. You can learn more about the ICF on their About page.
Beyond my formal training, I keep my learning current through ongoing study in coaching skills and reflective conversation.
Each session is $50 USD, payable at the time of our coaching conversation.
I accept payments via PayPal or Venmo. If you don't have either of these services, I can send you an invoice for the session.
As proof of payment, I send you a receipt via email after receiving payment.
*** I believe that cost shouldn't be a barrier to getting support. If cost is a concern, feel free to reach out anyway and we can talk. ***
If something in your life might benefit from a coaching conversation, you’re welcome to start by completing a Pre-Coaching Check-In Form. I’ll review it and follow up with next steps.
If you have questions before getting started, you can reach out here.
